We collect personal data when you:
– Fill out our contact form or request a free performance analysis on the website. Here we typically collect name, email address, phone number, company name and information about your business (e.g. revenue and ad budget) that you provide yourself.
– Sign up for our newsletter or other marketing via Klaviyo. Here we collect your email address and your interaction with our emails (opens, clicks).
– Visit our website. Here we automatically collect information via cookies and similar technologies, including IP address, device and browser information, and how you use the site (see section 4 on cookies).
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
– To respond to your enquiry and prepare a performance analysis when you contact us. Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (steps prior to entering into a contract) and (f) (legitimate interest in being able to respond to enquiries).
– To send you newsletters and marketing if you have signed up for this. Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails.
– To analyse and improve our website and target advertising via cookies. Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) (consent, obtained via our cookie banner) for statistics and marketing cookies, and (f) (legitimate interest) for necessary cookies.
– To comply with our obligations under the Danish Bookkeeping Act and other legislation in relation to client agreements. Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) (legal obligation).
We use cookies and similar technologies on makerz.dk to make the website work, for statistics and for marketing. We use among other things:
– Cookiebot to manage your consent to cookies.
– Google Analytics and Google Ads for traffic statistics and to measure and target our advertising.
– Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to measure the effect of our ads and show you relevant ads on Meta's platforms.
– Klaviyo to support site features in connection with our newsletter and email marketing.
You can always see the full, updated list of the specific cookies we use — including name, purpose, provider and lifetime — in our cookie declaration, which you find via the cookie banner on the website. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner ("Cookie settings").
Necessary cookies do not require consent, as they are a prerequisite for the website to function. All other cookies (statistics and marketing) are only set once you have given your consent.
We disclose or give access to your personal data to the following categories of recipients, who process the data on our behalf (processors) or as independent controllers:
– Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads) – Google Ireland Limited.
– Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel).
– Klaviyo, Inc. (email marketing).
– Cybot A/S / Cookiebot (cookie consent management) – Danish provider.
– Subcontractors who operate and host our website and systems.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Some of our processors (including Google and Meta) may transfer data to countries outside the EU/EEA, including the USA. Such transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or another valid transfer mechanism intended to ensure a level of protection equivalent to EU/EEA rules.
We only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or for as long as we are legally obliged to. Accounting material is retained for 5 years in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act. When the retention period expires, we delete or anonymise your information.
Under the GDPR you have a number of rights in relation to our processing of your personal data:
– Right of access.
– Right to rectification.
– Right to erasure in certain cases.
– Right to restriction in certain cases.
– Right to object, including to direct marketing.
– Right to data portability in certain cases.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, disclosure, loss, alteration or unauthorised access, misuse or other processing in breach of the law.
We may update this privacy policy on an ongoing basis, for example as a result of changes in legislation or in our processing of personal data. The latest version will always be available on this page, and the date of the latest update appears at the top. In the event of material changes we will make an effort to inform you directly.
